MISS Philippines Jehza Huellar finished in the Top 10 of the 10th Miss Supranational 2018 beauty pageant which was held in Poland,
Friday night
(early
Saturday morning Manila time). Filipino-American Katrina Jayne Dimaranan nearly won the title, however, landing 1st runner-up spot in the same pageant representing the USA. Dimaranan also won Best in Swimsuit while Miss Vietnam was awarded Best Preliminary Gown. Before Dimaranan joined Miss Supranational, she became Bb. Pilipinas Tourism in 2012. She was expected to compete at the Miss Tourism Queen International 2012 but the pageant was cancelled.
Now based in California, Dimaranan is to appear in the upcoming reality show “The People’s Queen,” a boot camp for aspiring beauty queens. Valeria Velasquez, 24, of Puerto Rico, was crowned Miss Supranational 2018. Other winners were Poland, 2nd runnerup; Indonesia, 3rd runner-up; and Mexico, 4th runner-up. Miss Supranational 2013 Johanna Datul was one of the judges in the finals. She is the first Miss Supranational title holder from the Asia and the Philippines.
