Flash Mob Dancing and A Proposal

-

Over the years, the month of June continues to be regarded as the most popular month for celebrating weddings. One romantic clearly had a timely way to make June more special.

Michael Tan's girlfriend of almost two years, Bea Lu, was strolling obliviously at the fountain outside Red Box Cebu in Ayala Center when a mob of dancers started flash dancing in front of her. Stunned, she was surprised to see her boyfriend come out with signboards and flowers. The crowd got wild when he sank down on one knee and popped the question.

" I believe every girl should experience a good proposal," Michael said which accounts for the month- long preparation spent to orchestrate this life changing event. " There are many ways to propose. Making the girl happy is the best thing you can give to her." Michael said. "… next to diamonds," he jokingly added.

Bea Lu had to contain her excitement and accepted Michael's ring and flowers after saying a breathy " yes." To quote Michael, " We have been through a lot, and I wanna thank you for not giving up on our relationship. Thank you for trusting me with your heart." It took so much effort for her not to burst into tears.

Michael remembered how he met Bea in his office the first time. " Maybe it was destiny for us that I was in the office. She said if she left earlier we would have not met."

Every so often you'll see creative proposals in public but the couple's story is always different. This romantic event of a man proposing to his lady in Ayala mall is no accident. " I choose Red Box because she loves to sing and we go there a lot," Michael explains. " The lights, the fountain - it was amazing, like photoshop." The mall that is practically part of their everyday lives - that is constantly packed with people - the same people who practically sang to the chorus of Marry Me by Bruno Mars definitely worked out as planned.
