Cinco sizzles as Healthy Home goes 2-0 in UABC

Michael Cinco exploded with 35 points as Healthy Home turned back KnoxOut, 77-71, to grab the temporary lead with a 2-0 record in the United Architects Basketball Club (UABC) Mini Cup 2012 last Sunday at the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) gym.

After cruising to a hot 21-12 start, Healthy Home toned down offensively, allowing KnoxOut to wrest the driver's seat at halftime, 37-34.

With the flashy Oliver Tan at the firing end, KnoxOut still led by three points, 5356, at the end of the third period but that proved to be their last stand as Cinco took matters into his own hands to propel Healthy Home to its second straight win.

Cinco was backed up by the burly Jay Radomes with 13 points, while Maspinas and Philip Khan Lim connived for 16 markers for Healthy Home. Tan paced KnoxOut with 17 points.

In the other games, Emboy and Jay-R Decatoria torched 39 points combined as Konstruk Permaplast nipped Titan Elastometric, 7262, while Ryan Pepito calmly sank two free throws in the dying seconds of the contest to vault Wallguard to a 59-57
