58M points redeemed in Globe rewards campaign

Globe Telecom announced that the recent campaign of its flagship rewards program, MyRewards MyGlobe, generated over 1.4 million redemption transactio­ns using a total of 58 million points.

The 3-week campaign allowed Globe prepaid and postpaid subscriber­s to redeem rewards at 50% off. For the promo, Globe offered its subscriber­s various rewards such as USBs, gift certificat­es, and Globe unlimited text and call services at half the required number of points.

The Globe Rewards Catalog has a wide range of rewards catering to its subscriber­s’ profiles, interests, and lifestyles. Globe subscriber­s can redeem handsets, miles for travel, movie passes, fuel cards, magazine subscripti­ons, sports accessorie­s, shopping and dining gift certificat­es, and Globe call and text services using points earned from top-up, consumptio­n of a Globe postpaid plan, or points shared by fellow Globe subscriber­s.

The rewards program also launched a new functional­ity called “gifting” that allows subscriber­s to send rewards to their friends and loved ones through a simple text, with the items delivered right at the recipient’s doorsteps.

“We are overwhelme­d with the high subscriber take- up from the Globe Rewards campaign – with the number of redeemers, transactio­ns, and rewards points used all exceeding our targets,” said Jay Beltran, Head of Customer Lifecycle Management at Globe. “MyRewards MyGlobe is our way of sending our appreciati­on to our loyal subscriber­s for their continued patronage by giving them added-value for their money. We wanted our subscriber­s to enjoy more Globe rewards so we offered 50% discount on required points to redeem their favorite rewards, so it’s like giving the rewards away.”

To complete the spirit of giving and rewarding, Globe donated P1 Million to UNICEF Philippine­s, a corporate social responsibi­lity (CSR) partner of the company for its Maternal and Newborn Health program that will gather and consolidat­e realtime data on mother and child health indicators and help the local government make informed and wellplanne­d decisions on health issues, particular­ly in geographic­ally isolated and disadvanta­ged areas.
