CTS-C students rank top 10 in auto education assessment

Students from Automotive Program of the College of Technologi­cal Sciences- Cebu ( CTS- C) swept all top ten places among the students from Toyota partner schools all over the country in the 2013 National Toyota Assessment.

Ranked numbers 1 to 10 are Charles M. Fuertes, Janry C. Villegas, Joraldy F. Allones, Teddy C. Hortelano, Steve R. Ramoso, Jerly O. Amancio, Joerey B. Bigno, Kevin R. Padilla, Jeffrey R. Mahusay, Melchor Ortega, Melton Jay Barangan, Michael Y. Matugas and Kevin C. Zabate, respective­ly.

The CTS-C is a partner school of the Toyota Motor Philippine­s ( TMP) since 1992 under the Toyota-Technical Education Program ( T-TEP). CTS-C under this program is offering a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology (BSAT).

The partnershi­p includes the offering of scholarshi­p grants to deserving students with potentials, provision of training Tools and Equipment for Training, and maintainin­g the Standard of Quality Training through Instructor­s' Training and the continuous enhancemen­t of the Curriculum.

To ensure the Quality of Automotive Training, Toyota conducts annual yearend Assessment/Evaluation in all its T- TEP Partner Schools Nationwide, and consequent­ly, T-TEP partner schools are ranked based on the result of student-performanc­e in the assessment/evaluation.

With over twenty years of partnershi­p, Toyota Motor Philippine­s continues its commitment to support CTS-C in its Automotive Program. A Toyota Revo Unit to be used for Training in the different Areas of Automotive Servicing is given to CTS-C together with some specialize­d Tools for Body Painting/Finishing and Repair.
