UCLM student tops Teachers Board Exams

-

University of Cebu-Lapu-Lapu Mandaue student Jasson Singcular recently topped the Teachers' Board Exams, otherwise known as the Licensure Examination for Teachers, gaining 8th place among thousands of examinees nationwide.

Singcular is a 22-year- old graduate of Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education at the UCLM, an institution that has produced LET topnotchers three years in a row.

A firm believer in the adage "there is no shortcut to success," Singcular enjoyed a full scholarship from UCLM all throughout college and strived to maintain high grades in compliance with his scholarship requirements along with teaching young beneficiaries supported by a foundation.

Singcular joins the other topnotchers from the University of Cebu from various courses including Law, Engineering and Maritime who make the university proud year after year.

These achievers are fitting rewards for UC's upcoming Golden Anniversary. For the past 50 years, UC has remained steadfast in its commitment in providing quality yet affordable education. UC keeps its gates open to the masses through several scholarship opportunities.

Among these is the P500 Tuition scheme through the

Program. For as little as P500 enrollment processing fee, graduates from any public high school in Cebu City can enroll in an undergraduate program in UC by simply presenting the P10, 000 voucher given out by the Cebu City Government.

More than 7,000 scholarships are available at UC, covering categories such as academic, working, cultural, athletic and peer facilitator scholarships, UC discounts and privileges, corporate, institutional, government and individual sponsored scholarships and Maritime International Scholarship Grants.
