Bakeshop unveils its JulieVersity Campus Patrol
Julie's Bakeshop announced the launch of its first ever campus patrol initiative in Cebu which aims to bring its bread products closer to the student community. The first route of campus patrol series kicked off last week during the intramural event of the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) in Lahug, Cebu City.
Campus patrol is the Julie's way of building and strengthening a good relationship with the students in Cebu by fostering partnership with schools and universities on their events. The idea of making a Julie's presence in campus events is in accordance to the bakeshop's current position as the largest neighborhood bakeshop chain in the country.
During the grand kick off, students at USPF were entertained with the Julie's mascot performance, spin-a-wheel, and the Julie's official Facebook fan page "Like."
The four-day presence of Julie's Bakeshop at the USPF was remarkable with huge student line ups at its booth to buy its bread products and some products from partners Selecta and Coca-Cola, and more fun and photos with the Julie's mascot.
After the positive responses of the USPF student community last week, Julie's Bakeshop is more excited and inspired as it gears up for its next route at the University of Cebu.
"We are very excited for this campus patrol initiative and we are so overwhelmed by the positive responses from students and school personnels", says Espie Jingco, National Marketing Manager at Julie's Franchise Corporation.
The Cebu campus patrol initiative is inspired by the successful outcome of Julie's Bakeshop campus tours done in Manila areas in the past few years and present.
