De Lima’s statement is only for fools!

-

The middle of April is always a serious concern to all people as it is called Tax Week. Yes, it is the week for paying of taxes and everyone knows that the reality of life means birth, death, and taxes. So for tonight, we bring you a Straight from the Sky special presentation about taxes… how to pay your taxes using the electronic system that the Bureau of Internal Revenue is using and we will also talk about people who are not Internet savvy?

Tonight, our special guest is Mr. Mon Abrea, a tax whiz who wrote the book, “God a question about Taxes?” He flew from Manila just to be on our show and yes, he has been invited by many mainstream stations like ABSCBN and GMA-7 to talk about taxes. So we are blessed that Mon honored us to be on our show, after all, April 15th is the deadline for paying of taxes.

So watch Mon Abrea talk about taxes on SkyCable’s channel 61 at 8:00PM with replays on Wednesday and Friday same time. We also have replays on MyTV at 9:00 tonight and at 7:00AM and 9:00PM on Wednesday and Fridays to ensure that our viewers won’t miss our talk show.

*** Last April 9th, during the Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) rites in Mt. Samat in Bataan, Pres. Benigno Aquino III used this occasion to push for the Bangsamoro Basic Law saying, “Former enemies can become partners.” This only goes to show how little PNoy knows about history. While we were not trading partners with Japan and the US and Japan who were enemies 70 years ago are now very close allies, all this happened because of the passage of time. Indeed, time is a great healer of wounds.

But using the Araw ng Kagitingan rites as a parallel to what happened to us 70 years ago is just sheer ignorance and sheer insensitive for the President to do. Sure, I submit that someday when this nation has a better system of governance and true patriots and statesmen as our political leaders, we might see the day when Muslim separatists might be our partners. But for sure, not at this time when the wounds of those who were wounded at the Mamasapano massacre are still fresh.

But let me point this out directly to PNoy… that while Japan is now our friend and trading partner… Japan had to pay reparations to the Philippines for what it did to us during World War II. But in the plan of PNoy… it is the Philippine government that would give P70 billion to the Moro Islamic Liberation Front… as reparations? You’ve got to be kidding the Filipino people, Mr. President! It is for stupid suggestions like this that has caused your downslide to oblivion!

I don’t know what’s happening to the regime of Pres. Aquino for he and his cabinet members seem to have lost not only their credibility, but they have totally lost whatever wisdom they used to have. Take the case of the issue that former Department of Interior & Local Government Sec. Rafael Alunan III exposed about Mohagher Iqbal, the MILF chief negotiator whom we now know isn’t his real name, but a mere alias. Suddenly, Department of Justice Sec. Leila De Lima defended the use of aliases, which the DOJ only last Sept. 11, 2009 issued a warning against the use of unregistered aliases.

This reminded me of the plunder case filed against former Pres. Joseph “Erap” Estrada when during the trial, fellow Philippine Star columnist Marichu Villanueva wrote on February 26, 2002 that Pres. Joseph “Erap” Estrada finally admitted that he signed the name Jose Velarde for his secret bank account of P500 million at the Equitable-PCI Bank. This was one of the evidences presented against Erap.

Meanwhile, it is now officially known that Iqbal didn’t use his real name when he signed the Peace Accord, while MILF chairman Al-Haj Murad Ebrahim and MILF vice chairman Ghadzlli Jaafar are also fictitious names. So for all intents and purposes, the Peace Accord pursued by the Aquino Regime is nothing but a fictitious peace accord that’s only for fools!

Look at today’s reality. I challenge anyone who wants to get a loan in the bank if you can get one using an alias! The case of Jose Velarde was different because it was the President of the Philippines who cajoled Equitable- PCI Bank into getting his P500 million bank account.

For ordinary mortals, you cannot use a fake name when you transact official business and I dare say that DOJ Sec. De Lima has lost all her credibility and wisdom. Molière once said, “A learned fool is more a fool than an ignorant fool!” Just look, first, no chain of command, now there is nothing wrong with the use of aliases? It is for this reason why I’m not anxious to hear the results of the DOJ Investigation because I’m 1000% sure that it would exonerate the President from any wrongdoing in the Mamasapano massacre. Resign in shame Sec. De Lima because you cannot fool us!
