Fuente Police Station has filed complaints before the Office of the Cebu City Prosecutor against a 37-year-old man who allegedly robbed a fast-food outlet along P. Del Rosario Extension.

Richard Rama, who admitted robbing Ngohiong Express on Saturday, is now facing charges for robbery, for possession of drug paraphernalia, and for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Police Officer 2 Gelou Destacamento of Fuente Police Station said Rama opted not to file a counter-affidavit during the inquest proceedings on Monday.

Rama reportedly robbed the P5,000 sales of Ngohiong Express and was arrested in a follow-up operation conducted by Fuente police in Barangay Sambag I.

Rama, along with two minors who allegedly assisted him, pretended to be customers and ordered food at the store. But instead of paying for their order, Rama pointed a gun at cashier Liela Comahog and declared a holdup.

His two minor cohorts reportedly took the money from the cash register as well as the bag of one of the customers, Meramie Corocoto, before they ran away. Corocoto’s bag contained assorted clothing, hair iron, and cellular phone.

During the follow-up operation, the police seized some of the stolen items and a caliber .357 revolver from Rama.

Rama has been reportedly arrested on April 8 for illegal possession of firearm but was able to post P30,000 bail.

One of the suspect’s cohorts, a 14-yearold student, was apprehended by the police at his school while he was attending his class.
