New breed of child stars topbill afternoon drama
ABS-CBN’s newest child stars Louise Abuel, Micko Laurente, Jon Michael, Raikko Mateo, and Karla Cruz will be the little big stars of the network’s newest drama offering “Walang Iwanan” when it starts airing on Monday, October 19.
“Walang Iwanan” follows the story of Jose (Abuel), son of Anita
(Roxanne Guinoo) from her past relationship, and his struggles in dealing with his stepfather, Kamlon (played by “It’s Showtime” host Jhong Hilario).
Laurente plays the role of Boy, the first-born of Anita and Kamlon, who will make life hard for Jose to be friends with his other siblings. Jose’s other half siblings are Crisencio (Michael), Maribel (Cruz), and Michael (Mateo).
Jose finds solace in his two grandmothers, Ina and Ebe, who raised him with love. Their love prepares Jose to be strong and to be a fine-mannered boy.
Trouble ensues when the kids find out that their parents have gone missing one morning and they need to fend for themselves. Jose and Boy try to work out their differences for the sake of their siblings as they hope to find out what really happened to their parents and be together once again as a complete family.
Directed by Jerome Chavez Pobocan, other cast members include John Estrada, Beauty Gonzales, and Nicco Manalo.
