The so-called 'Big Three' of Omega Boxing Gym WBO Youth Asia-Pacific super bantamweight champion Jack Tepora (17-0, 12KOs), WBF Asia-Pacific bantamweight titlist Kenny Demecillo (10-3-2,7KOs) and unbeaten light flyweight contender Christian Araneta (11-0, 9KOs) – promised to make an impression before Cebuano fight fans when they take on separate foes in the second edition of the 'Who's Next" Pro Boxing Series this July 10 at the Robinsons Galleria Cebu atrium.

To publicize their upcoming bouts that will gauge the future of their respective careers, Tepora, Demecillo and Araneta held a public workout last Saturday afternoon at Robinson’s Fuente, giving the Cebuano fans a glimpse of their fighting abilities.

Aside from punching mitts with trainers Pingping and Jingjing Tepora, the Omega pugs also displayed their fistic sharpness and skills through various routines.

"I am ready 100 percent ready for my next defense. I will do everything I can to dish out an impressive victory. There's no way I'm goping to lose because I'm not only defending my title, but also also protecting my undefeated record," said Tepora, nicknamed "The Golden Boy" in reverence to his idol, the great Oscar de la Hoya.

During the inaugural 'Who's Next?' boxing show presented by Omega Pro Sports International (OPSI) and International Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IPI) last March 6, the 23year-old Tepora scored a smashing fifth round stoppage of Jason Tinampay of Bohol to seize the previously vacant WBO 122-pound crown.

That catapulted him to No.11 in the WBO rankings.

"I will make the most out of the opportunity given to me because just like any other fighter, I also aspire to fight to a world title and become world champion someday. That is why I have to be prepared and ready to hurdle every challenge that comes my way," said Tepora.

Likewise, Demecillo is out to prove something after a so-so performance during his previous match where he barely kept his WBC belt after settling to a draw with Edrin Dapudong on December 12 last year at the Almendras Gym in Davao City.

"I trained so hard and I'm raring to give the fans a very entertaining fight," declared Demecillo, who hails from Iligan City.

Araneta, on the other hand, showed a lot of promise at this point of his career, posting an 82 percent knockout rate having decked nine out of his 11 victims.

"I will just continue what I have been doing (inside the ring) and hopefully earn a title shot in future. That is really what I'm aiming for," said Araneta.

OPSI Vice President Chad E. Cañares said the opponents of the Omega trio will be announced a day or two from now.
