Traffic enforcer killed

A traffic enforcer was killed by unidentified men on his way home in Carcar City at around 5 p.m. yesterday.

PO1 Ariel Yap of the Carcar Police identified the enforcer as Maximo Bustamante. The victim sustained several gunshout wounds, which led to his death.

Yap said Bustamante was heading home from work when the suspects who were on board a motorcycle fired shots in Sitio Bangko, Barangay Valencia.

Responding policemen recovered an empty shel of a .45 caliber revolver from the crime scene. Investigation is ongoing to determine the motive of the shooting and identify the suspects.
