CSC hosts reg’l governance meet, calls for participants
The Civil Service Commission (CSC) is calling on professionals, academics and practitioners, students, and young researchers in public administration in the Asia Pacific region to register for the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration (E
With the theme: “iGovernance: Innovative. Inclusive. Integrity-Based”, the event will focus on three components ideal for current public administration.
Possible topics that will be presented during the conference under the sub-theme Innovative include: The Role of Public Administration in Transforming Government through Innovations, Innovations in Public Human Resource Systems, and Social Networking vis-à-vis Public Administration.
Under the sub-theme Inclusive, focus will be on the Role of Public Administration in Cultural and Global Diversity, The Internet and Increased Participation in Government, and Democratic Governance Initiatives, among others.
For Integrity-Based, topics such as Integrity in Public Life, and Strong Leader vs. Ethical Leader will be discussed.
The CSC is co-hosting the learning event with the Eastern Regional Organization for Public Administration. A certificate of completion with a credit of 24 Leadership and Management training hours will be distributed at the end of the program. Participants are required to register online through csc.gov.ph (training calendar).
The EROPA is an organization of states and individuals in Asia and the Pacific. It was established in 1960 in response to a common desire among developing countries to promote regional cooperation in improving knowledge, systems and practices of government administration to help accelerate economic and social development. It was the first organization in the region to be devoted to the development of public administration in order to advance the economic and social development of countries in Asia and the Pacific.
