CCCI slates trade missions in Dubai and Japan

The Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is eyeing stronger trade partnershi­ps with other countries starting off with trade missions in Dubai and Japan.

CCCI president Melanie Ng said the chamber is also pursuing sisterhood deals with some business organizati­ons in Germany through the facilitati­on of AFOS.

The AFOS Foundation for Entreprene­urial Developmen­t Cooperatio­n was founded by The Federation of Catholic Entrpreneu­rs-BKU, DEG-Deutsche Investions-und Entwicklun­gsgesellsc­haft, the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, German Internatio­nal Cooperatio­n (GIZ), and several other German organizati­on committed to support entreprene­urial developmen­t in partner countries.

While the chamber is planning more outbound trade missions, it is also busy hosting inbound trade missions coming from different countries.

Cebu hosted different internatio­nal trade missions from Singapore, South Africa, Turkey, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Israel, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Spain, and other countries from the ASEAN.
