Oil price hike set today

Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. on Monday announced it will hike the prices of petroleum products this week, GMA News reported.

Shell said it will increase gasoline prices by P0.40 per liter, and diesel by P0.30 per liter. Kerosene prices will remain the same.

The changes will take effect at 6 a.m. today, September 13.

Data from the Department of Energy shows that diesel prices in the country currently range from P24.34 to P35.20 per liter, and gasoline from P35.20 to P42.25 per liter.
