Kapuso stars light up Sinulog 2017
GMA Network, through its regional arm GMA Regional TV, ushers in the New Year in a grand, festive mood with the stars of its highly-anticipated programs bannering the Sinulog Festival in Cebu beginning today until Sunday.
As a way of thanking viewers for keeping the Kapuso Network number one nationwide, GMA is bringing to the Queen City of the South the casts of the upcoming primetime series “Destined To Be Yours” and “My Love From The Star,” as well as the newlylaunched rom-com “Meant To Be.”
The fun does not end here as the stars of the latest Afternoon Prime series “Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa” and “Ika-6 na Utos” join in the celebration of Cebuanos’ reverence to Senyor Santo Niño.
Today, stars of the TV adaptation of the classic film “Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa” – Julie Anne San Jose, Benjamin Alves, LJ Reyes and Martin del Rosario – will hold back-to-back Kapuso Mall Shows in Gaisano Capital South Colon at 4 p.m. and at The Terraces of Ayala Center Cebu at 6 p.m.
Expect Saturday to be also star-studded with stars of “Ika-6 Na Utos” and “Meant To Be” treating their fans to another back-to-back Kapuso Mall Show.
Sure to set the festive mood in Gaisano Capital Island Mall Mactan at 4 p.m. is the on-screen love triangle of Gabby Concepcion, Sunshine Dizon and Ryza Cenon. Cebuanos will fall in love even more with the help of “Meant To Be” stars Barbie Forteza, Ken Chan, Jak Roberto, Ivan Dorschner, Addy Raj and Mika dela Cruz.
The two shows will proceed to SM City Cebu later on for another Kapuso Mall Show at 6 p.m.
Adding more glitz to the colorful Sinulog Grand Parade on Sunday are today’s hottest love teams and stars of the much-awaited Telebabad series “Destined to Be Yours” and “My Love From The Star.”
Phenomenal love team AlDub — Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza—returns to Cebu, this time to promote their first primetime series “Destined to Be Yours.”
Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado brings with her the newest Kapuso actor and her leading man in the local adaptation of “My Love From The Star,” Gil Cuerva.
They will be joined by Ken, Jak, Ivan and Addy of “Meant to Be” onboard the Kapuso float to tour the major streets of Cebu City. Mika, on the other hand, will co-host GMA TV Cebu’s live coverage of the Sinulog Grand Parade together with GMA Cebu’s Cecil Quibod-Castro and Yuri.
