Cebu Business Park, Ayala Center bare Sinulog activities

Celebrate the Sinulog Festival with twice the fun and excitement as Cebu Business Park and Ayala Center Cebu roll out activities throughout the week leading to Cebu’s grandest festival.

Ayala Center Cebu starts the year with the beast deals and discounts for shoppers with the Welcome 2017 Mallwide Sale from January 2 to 15.

Embrace local and check out special handmade hablon pieces from Argao with Amano Linya Sugbuana-Hablon Craft Creations by Dexter Alazas at the Level 1, near Trollbeads from January 6 to 14.

From January 6 to 16, the mall pays homage to the true essence of the Sinulog festival with a display of over 40 different images of the Child Jesus — a collection from different devotees all over Cebu, at the Sto. Niño Exhibit located at the mall’s chapel, 4th level. The Sto. Niño Novena Mass will also be held daily at the chapel every 6PM from January 6 to 14.

To complement the Cebuano experience, the best dishes and delicacies will be showcased at Kaon Ta Bai, a partnership with the Cebu Provincial Government at the Level 1, near Cotton On from January 7 to 14.

The Symphony of Lights continues with a Sinulog twist at The Terraces from January 9 to 31, 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. (every 30 minutes).

The celebration continues as the country’s biggest stars grace the stage at Ayala Center Cebu. On Friday, January 13, catch your favorite Kapuso stars’ Julie Anne San Jose, LJ Reyes, Benjanim Alves and Martin Del Rosario at the Kapuso Fans’ Day, 6 p.m. at The Terraces.

And on Saturday, January 14, sing and dance along to Kapamilya stars Onyok, Awra, John Prats, Coco Martin, Julia Barretto, Enchong Dee and Bea Alonzo at the Kapamilya Karavan, 4 p.m. at The Terraces.

At Cebu Business park, the Plus.Six.Three. Music and Arts Festival brings a unique mix of international and local music acts featuring the best music artists such as award-winning DJ Steve Aoki on January 14 and 15 at the Negros Road.

From January 13 to 15, satisfy your taste buds with a myriad of homegrown options at the Food Park by Sugbo Mercado, 3 p.m., at the corner of Cardinal Rosales and Pescadores Road.

To cap the Sinulog celebration, gather friends and loved ones for the annual Symphony of Fire, a grand fireworks display by the Dragon fireworks on January 15, 9pm at the Cardinal Rosales Road. Tune in to Y101 to hear the music in sync with the grand display.
