CBM 2017’s 2nd mini press conference
As a platform to maximize the awareness of what Cebu Business Month (CBM) has to offer this year, Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) highlighted the importance of digital innovation, new technologies and trends in its 2nd Mini Press Conference at SM City Cebu Conference Hall last April 11.
Present were members, representatives and officers of CCCI, Cebu Business Month Committee, Cebu Digital Innovation Summit and the Innovation Council of Cebu, the pioneering innovation council in the Philippines.
Michael Cubos, President of Innovation Council of Cebu, summed up the upcoming Cebu Digital Innovation Summit (CDI Summit) on June 2 & 3 as an avenue to accelerate, to connect, to nurture, to protect and to promote innovation that could propel business growth and development particularly among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The Cebu Digital Innovation Summit will help provide opportunities for stakeholders and individuals from the industry, academe, support group, ICT Councils, LGUs and NGOs to collaborate and be at par with the growth pace of the industry on national level.
The event shall provide a knowledge sharing platform on:
• how digital innovation will continue to be critical of your success
• how to prepare your company
• how to adapt to new technologies set to disrupt your business
• disruptive innovation
CCCI Vice President for Membership and CDI Summit Chair Christian Paro-an said that they have invited some wellknown speakers including Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Rodolfo A. Salalima to share their best practice on digital solutions, and to grace the event.
The Cebu Digital Innovation Summit is going to be inclusive as it is open to all digital technology enthusiasts, digital experts, and digital champions with the vision to bring Cebu’s digital innovation and technology businesses to the next level.
