PAS-Cebu marks ad min pros week

The Philippine Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals Inc .( PAS )- Cebu Chapter celebrates the "Administrative Professionals' Week" from April 23 to 29.

The celebration will kick off today, April 23, with a Eucharistic celebration at Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel in Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City to be followed by a summer get-together cum Family Day activity. A "Miss U - PAS 2017" will be selected from among the members of PAS-Cebu Chapter.

A two-day visit will be done by some members of the Board of Trustees and officers on April 24 and 25 to companies of PAS members in the cities of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue and Naga. Special tokens will be given to the members and their bosses during the visits.

The much anticipated "Administrative Professionals’ and Executives' Night" will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at Radisson Blu. This will be highlighted by the proclamation of the "2017 Executive of the Year" and "2017 Administrative Professional of the Year".

The EOY award is given to the executive of a PAS member based on the following criteria: Executive' support to the professional development of the administrative professional; work relationship of executive and the administrative professional; support extended to PAS - Cebu; and support extended to the community where the company operates.

On the other hand, the APY award is conferred to an active member who passed the three-phase selection process, namely: written examinations, internal panel interview and external panel interview in the areas of office procedures, business English, management, human relations and general information.

The week-long celebration will be concluded by a half-day seminar on "Bridging Financial Literacy and Financial Wellness" on April 29, 1-5 p.m. at Cebu Country Club. This seminar is open to the public at a minimal fee of P600 inclusive of certificate of participation, snacks and other seminar materials.
