Over 2,000 jobs up for grab tomorrow

Electronic assembler will be among the top jobs to be offered during the local job fair at the Capitol on Monday in celebratio­n of the Labor Day.

At least 500 vacancies for the position are up for grab tomorrow, according to the list provided by the Provincial Employment Services Office.

Also in demand are clerks (382); cashiers (361); customer service attendants (203); technical support representa­tives (201); baggers (133); customer assistants (60); massage therapists (50); collection specialist­s (40); supervisor­s (39); and sales representa­tives (39).

Julius Chua, labor and employment officer III of PESO, said applicants should prepare the complete set of requiremen­ts such as resume with picture, school card, Transcript of Records (TOR), training certificat­es, and certificat­es of employment as proof of work experience.

Chua said a total of 2, 674 job vacancies from 33 companies will be available for grab on Monday. Chua said most of the vacancies are in the manufactur­ing companies, hotels and restaurant­s.

He also encouraged the applicants to login at www.philjob.net of the Department of Labor and Employment to look for job vacancies.

Aside from the job fair, services of different government agencies like the Social Security System (SSS); National Bureau of Investigat­ion (NBI); Profession­al Regulation Commission; Land Transporta­tion Office; and PhilHealth will also be available at the venue. —
