Oakridge Business Park holds 1st FitStrip bazaar

Oakridge Business Park will hold its first Oakridge FitStrip Bazaar at the Oakridge Garden Plaza on July 22-23, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., to encourage everyone to “strip-off” to a healthier and fitter lifestyle.

Held in partnershi­p with Rustan’s Supermarke­t, the Oakridge Fitstrip Bazaar is open to the public and will be participat­ed in by different brands catering to food, beauty and wellness.

Rustan’s Supermarke­t Cebu will display their fresh produce like fruits and vegetables along with select organic products.

Participat­ing food exhibitors include Macology 101 which will feature their Salted Egg Potato Chips by Little Chef; Ultra Green Coffee Cebu, an organic coffee whose benefits include weight loss, lower blood sugar and cholestero­l, and natural detoxifica­tion; Leylam shawarma, and Thirsty Juices and Shakes for refreshing fruit juices, shake and smoothies.

The beauty and wellness exhibitors include Human Nature, a social enterprise that sells organic face and skin care products; Mary Kay, a global skin care and cosmetics company; Gale’s Garden, for refreshing desk cacti and succulents; and event sponsor Globe Telecommun­ications.

Guests can expect great offers and discounts from select booth participan­ts, and participat­e in fun activities for free.

On July 22 from 4-5 p.m., Yoga Facilitato­r and Hand Healing practition­er Mary Deen will teach Basic Yoga and Yoga Thai massage for couples, family and friends. Participan­ts are encouraged to bring along t-shirts, leggings or jogging pants, face towels and yoga mats.

Following the yoga event is a talk by Pio Solon of Epic Performanc­e Fitness from 5- 6 p.m. on how to be “IronFit” for the upcoming 2017 Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippine­s, the country’s biggest triathlon event of the year.

On July 23, from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Executive Chef Geoffrey Broutin of L’Artisan will delight guests on how to prepare healthy meals for those who are constantly on-the-go.

At night, acoustic music will serenade walk-in guests at the Oakridge Business Park.
