Unveiling of “Christmas Village of Hope” Today

-

The biggest “Christmas Village of Hope” is unveiled today at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu.

Envisioned as a village symbolizing the joyous blessings and atmosphere of the Christmas season, the “Christmas Village of Hope” will match the ceremonial lighting of the giant Christmas Tree at 6 p.m.

The “Christmas Village of Hope,” conceptualized by couple Clayton and Joji Tugonon, is defined by miniature figures of houses and community attractions. This year’s display consists of over 700 miniature houses and five sets of running trains. An added attraction are the moving figurines, Disney’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse figurines, Christmas Mickey Mouse Train, and a lot more! Shoppers will get to enjoy lots of surprises and world-class entertainment.

The “Christmas Village of Hope” is an annual fundraiser for the benefit of children with cancer under the care of Kythe Foundation, Inc. Donors may visit the Northwing Atrium beginning tomorrow, November 12, for their donations and pledges, or check the Facebook account bearing the name "Christmas Hope" to choose the “Christmas Houses” they wish to adopt or sponsor. The proceeds will help fund the laboratory and imaging procedures, medicines as well as the Kythesponsored “celebrate life” parties and events.

Updates on events are posted at SM City Cebu (Official) on Facebook.
