Fine Writing and Reading Products

-

The well-loved specialty store formerly known as Scribe Writing Essentials is now simply called Scribe. The re-branding aims to revitalize the brand’s loyal clientele and reach out to a wider market by introducing them to a curated selection of fine writing and reading products as well as special gift items.

Established in 2002, Scribe now offers over 80 brands in store with 33 exclusive brands including the popular Traveler’s Company, Midori, and Hobonichi to name a few. Fountain pen favorites such as Kaweco, Plantinum Japan, J. Herbin, Noodler’s, and Sailor Japan are also included in the wide selection of products.

In line with the re-branding, Scribe has begun adapting their retail stores to reflect the new and modern Scribe. Launched first at its Glorietta 4 concept store, the Scribe shopping experience is a welcoming and stylish treat.

The shop’s minimalist interiors feature all-new displays, ambient lighting, and bigger walkways where customers can browse comfortably. All details serve to better showcase the same products that Scribe has been known for since the opening of the first retail store at Eastwood City in 2009.

Exclusive sets to Scribe greet shoppers upon entering, while writing implements such as pens, colored pencils, watercolor, and ink are prominently displayed. There’s also an array of journals, organizers, scrapbook paraphernalia, personal sealing sets, and specialty papers to choose from. With the fresh look of the Glorietta 4 store, Scribe hopes to introduce the art of writing via #IWriteWithScribe to the younger generation.

“Scribe’s rebrand has been getting great feedback. This comes from both our loyal customers

as well as the millennial market,” says Scribe president and general manager Marian Ong. “The shop feels more accessible and we’ve brought in new products and brands that pique customers’ interest. We now have Nahe, Penco, Tools to Live By, and Hightide.”

Scribe is available in Eastwood Mall, Shangri-La, Glorietta 4, SM Aura Premier, SM Megamall, SM City Cebu, Ayala Center Cebu, and online at its ecommerce site, http://www.scribewritingessentials.com. The brands social media accounts are at www.facebook.com/ ScribePH and @scribe.ph on Instagram.
