Pre-Congress Workshops of the 13th Asia Pacific Congress of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery
One Year Mini Daily Inspiration
The University of Cebu Medical Center (UCMed) hosted the Pre-Congress Workshops of the 13th Asia Pacific Congress of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery on November 15.
The workshops mainly had experts in the field of bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, surgical endoscopy, upper GI surgery, hernia repair and colhedochoscopy demonstrate ongoing advances in surgical techniques and technologies to attendees of the event.
Utilizing UCMed’s fully integrated 3D Endoalpha Minimally Invasive Surgery equipment and operating facilities, the workshops were live-streamed from UCMed’s operating theaters to the workshops’ participants who did not have to be physically present in operating theaters to raise questions and clarifications.
The setup made way for more engaging sessions that effectively drew focus on the latest developments in the area of endoscopic and laparoscopic surgery.
The November 15 pre-congress workshops were lead-up highlights to the 13th Asia Pacific Congress of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgery.
The congress was spearheaded by Endoscopic and Laparoscopic Surgeons of Asia (ELSA) and ran from November 16 to 18. It was the second time the congress was held in the Philippines and the first to be held in Cebu.
