PSBank to undergo system upgrade

Customers of all PSBank branches will have no access to their accounts from Feb. 23 to 26 — Friday to Monday.

All PSBank automated teller machines will not be available, and clients will not be able to use their ATM cards even in ATMs of other banks.

“We are upgrading our deposit system from February 23 (Friday) 10 p.m. to February 26 (Monday), 5 a.m., to enable us to serve you better,” the bank said in an emailed statement.

“Customers of all PSBank branches will have NO ACCESS to their accounts through any of the following:

* ALL ATMs (PSBank & other banks’)

* PSBank Mobile * PSBank Online * BOB (Corporate Internet Banking) * E-Credit

* POS (Point-of-Sale) services”

All PSBank Flexi Personal Loan accounts are not accessible through any ATM or POS.

Payments to proprietar­y billers like PSBank Loans, Metrobank & PSBank Credit Cards, Maynilad, PLDT, Smart & Sun, AXA, FAMI, and Sumisho are also not available.

According to the bank, it has 250 branches and more than 600 in-branch and offsite ATMS.

“We encourage you to plan your transactio­ns ahead of time,” PSBank noted.

With total assets of P221.29 billion, PSBank is the second largest thrift bank in the country in terms of assets, according to central bank data as of end-September 2017.
