COSAP tasked to process tanods’ P4T allowance

The Cebu City Office of Substance Abuse Prevention (COSAP) is now in charge of processing the honoraria of barangay tanods.

The processing of allowances was handled before by the Associatio­n of Barangay Council.

COSAP Chief Garry Lao said this developmen­t is aimed at addressing delays in the distributi­on of tanods' honoraria.

Each tanod in Cebu City is receiving P4,000 monthly allowance.

To hasten the processing, Lao said, several personnel are assigned to check tanods' lacking documents and follow-up them.

3 years old is diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma is in need of financial assistance for her Chemothera­py.

10 years old from Ubay, Bohol is diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblas­tic Leukemia.

He is undergoing Intensive Chemothera­py and due to high cost of treatment, parents is appealing for financial assistance. Parian, Pasil, Kalunasan, Busay, Talamban, San Nicolas Proper, Budlaan, San Roque, Ermita, Apas, Mambaling, and Kinasang-an.

The tanods are required to submit their daily time record (DTR), accomplish­ment reports, a letter authorizin­g them to serve, among others.

The “authority to serve” signed by the mayor is only given to tanods who were tested negative for illegal drug use. 8 years old from Carcar, Cebu is diagnosed with Acute Lymphocyti­c Leukemia is in need of financial assistance for his 3-year Chemothera­py.

14 years old from Gairan, Bogo

4 years old is diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblas­tic Leukemia is in need of financial assistance for Chemothera­py.
