Johndorf rakes in P500M from Tierra Nava Carcar
Johndorf Ventures Corp. (JVC) has generated 500 million in sales from 80% of townhouses at Tierra Nava. It equaled the amount it had earmarked to develop the subdivision in Carcar City.
As this developed, the company is set to turn over the first two tranches at the 5.4hectare subdivision of 655 townhouses at the turn of the quarter, shortly after it inaugurated the model units last May 1.
“We are well within our target to complete the project next year,” quipped Michele D. Chiu-Bacungan, JVC sales and marketing manager, noting that development works have reached 30 percent.
She is pleased to share that Tierra Nava (New Land) turned out to achieve the company’s objective of providing residents south of the metropolis with better homes in sitio Dapdap, Poblacion III.
She said half of the buyers have been overseas Filipino workers from or with families in Carcar as well as in adjacent towns, while the other half are mostly current residents themselves in the local city.
Bacungan said she feels most of the buyers of the remaining 100 townhouse units would come from the same profile, but added that urban dwellers and migrants could take Tierra Nava as an option for them to live in.
“They may now live in affordable 2-storey Asianthemed townhouses away from the hassles and bustles of city life but in the tranquility of countryside living,” she said.
One could own a home at the new Carcar community for only 1.2 million through PagIBIG with amenities that include a clubhouse, basketball court and landscaped open spaces, she added.
Located 42 kilometers south of Cebu City, Tierra Nava is built along the industrial corridor of Cebu south, adjacent to San Fernando and near Naga City that host various industrial companies that employ hundreds of employees.
