Hollywood hits on Movie Central

-

Hollywood A-listers Leonardo DiCaprio, Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, and Ben Affleck are dialing up the excitement on Movie Central, ABS-CBN TVplus’ newest exclusive all-English channel dedicated to Hollywood blockbusters with the airing of their giant hits via the “Movie Blowout” special airing every Saturday at 9 p.m., this September.

Mike (Channing Tatum) is luckless when he tries to get out of a life as a stripper through a loan to fund his own business in the 2012 comedy-drama “Magic Mike.” To pay his bills, he continues working for the club owner Dallas (Matthew McConaughey) and even takes a young man (Alex Pettyfer) under his wing. Catch Channing and his adventures with the gang this September 8.

Follow the extraordinary rise and fall of one of Wall Street’s most infamous stockbrokers, Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) in Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Together with his right-hand man, Donnie Azoff (Jonah Hill) and the Stratton Oakmont brokers, he defrauds wealthy investors out of millions. It doesn’t take long before the FBI is in on their trail. Catch it on September 15.

In “Argo,” a CIA agent (Ben Affleck) launches a dangerous operation to rescue six Americans in Tehran during the US hostage crisis in Iran in 1979 by going undercover – as a Hollywood producer scouting a location for a science-fiction film. The real life events play out like a movie. Catch the Oscar-winning film of Ben Affleck on September 29.

Meanwhile, catch Dwayne Johnson in “Snitch” on September 22 as he plays a father who agrees to go undercover for the Drug Enforcement Agency to lessen his son’s sentence in jail. He will do everything to expose the people behind the big Mexican drug trade even if it might cause his life.
