Straight from Sydney, master mixologist and awardwinni­ng bartender Samuel Ng runs the bar at The Pig & Palm a one night engagement tomorrow Saturday, October 20. Guests will enjoy a selection of specially crafted gin cocktails for the evening using Four Pillars Rare Dry and Navy Strength – Signature GnT, Sunnyside Cooler, Navy Strength & Ginger Beer, and Gin Spritz.

Ng was named as the Australian Brand Ambassador of the Year in 2017 and was a runner-up in Australian Bartender of the Year in 2014. He also won the Bombay Sapphire “Project Botanicals” in 2014 and the National Olmeca Altos Competitio­n in 2015. He worked as a bartender at The Black Pearl in Australia, one of the top bars in the world. Today, he is the brand ambassador of Four Pillars Rare Dry and Navy Strength Gin.

Four Pillars is an awardwinni­ng Australian distillery that produces gin based around their four pillars – the copper-pot still, the triplefilt­ered water, the various botanicals used to give flavor, and the distillers’ love for their work. In the Philippine­s, it is distribute­d by Apotheke Craft Spirits Co.

The drinks menu at The Pig & Palm’s bar features signatures that blend traditiona­l Filipino fruits and flavors with British styles while their selection of over 40 classic cocktails uses premium ingredient­s from original recipes such as those found in the 1930’s bartender bible, The Savoy cocktail book.
