USC, USPF in KO duel for CESAFI boys vol­ley­ball ti­tle

The de­fend­ing cham­pion Univer­sity of San Car­los and Univer­sity of South­ern Philip­pines Foun­da­tion will set­tle their un­fin­ished busi­ness once and for all as they collide in the de­cid­ing match of their best-of-three fi­nals in sec­ondary boys vol­ley­ball event of the 18th Cebu Schools Ath­letic Foun­da­tion, Inc. (CESAFI) sea­son to­day at the USPF gym­na­sium in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City. Game time is set at 4:30 pm. USPF drew first blood in the se­ries, 23-25, 25-18, 25-16, 19-25, 15-13 but USC gained a life­line with a 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-22 vic­tory in Game 2.

Mean­while, the rub­ber­match in the sec­ondary girls vol­ley­ball fi­nals be­tween USPF and the Univer­sity of San Jose-Reco­le­tos (USJ-R) will take place to­mor­row at 4 p.m. at the same venue.
