Three people died while another one was injured in a shooting incident at Sitio Bonbon, Barangay Ocaña, Carcar City early morning yesterday.

Carcar policemen identified the victims as Premitivo Gemo and Raprap Navares, who both died on the spot, while Donde Carbajal died upon arrival at the hospital.

Sherwin Carbajal Gemo, who was wounded, survived the attack.

Based on the initial investigation of the Carcar Police Station, two unidentified suspects, who were wearing full-faced helmet, shot the victims while they were drinking at Premitivo's residence.

Ocaña Barangay Captain Dario Ramos said the victims have no derogatory records in their barangay.

"Kung sa tinud-anay lang, murag wala pani record mga bataa." said Ramos.

The Carcar City police are currently investigating the case to identify the suspects.

They are looking, however, into the drugs angle as a possible motive of the incident.

Cebu Provincial Police Office Director Manuel Javier Abrugena advised the Carcar police to be vigilant in their operations and further probe on the circumstances behind the shooting incident.

"Sa ating Chief of Police ng Carcar, be vigilant sa kanilang police operations and, at the same time, dig deeper sa pangyayaring ito." said Abrugena.
