Over 500 children from all over the country will converge to play in a one-day futsal tournament dubbed as "Sama-Sama Games 2018" organized by FundLife International this Sunday at the Sisters of Mary School- Girlstown in Talisay City.

More than the competetion, the event aims to empower the youth through playing football as a platform of advocacy to provide greater inclusivity and opportunity as well as hoaning their individual potential.

"Our aim is to connect and unite people and the community through football. We also want to establish a sustainable community league here in Cebu, a year-long development program for the youth that would fulfill their full potential just like what we started in Tacloban. Football is made for everyone, it is not something that should be monopolized, so we really encourage everyone to do what they can," said FundLife International Founder and Managing Director Marko Kasic in a press conference yesterday at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel.

Generation Amazing's International Project Manager Rosa D' Alessandro said their program empowers young leaders across the world to create a positive change in their communities using the power of football.
