Torrequemada, Aguilar are February’s best in CETBA monthly

Fred Torrequemada and Inday Aguilar emerged as “Bowlers of the Month” for February in the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Friday Group over the weekend at the SM CityCebu Bowling Center.

Torrequemada knocked down a total of 1, 027 pins in the five-game series to top the men’s division.

Jerry Davis wound up second with a score of 1, 016 while Roland Bantilan placed third with 1,013 pinfalls. The next two sports were occupied by Tony Calo (1, 006) and Terrence Williams (980).

Rounding up the top 10 were Ging Francisco (977), Joseph Yu (967), Docdoc Gothong (965), Ronan Barredo (953) and Marvin Sevilla (937).

In the distaff side, Aguilar lorded it over with 1,058 pinfalls.

Emi Osada finished second with 950 followed by Sonia Gakenholz (933), Ester Francisco (920) and Johna Calipay (867). —
