Gaisano C’Mall’s Anniversar­y Run set October 27

A half marathon will spice up the 26th edition of Gaisano Country Mall's anniversar­y run on October 27 starting and ending at the mall's parking area in Barangay Banilad, Cebu City.

More than being part of its anniversar­y celebratio­n, the organizers are excited about having this fund-raising activity event for the benefit of less fortunate student of Nug-as Elementary School in Alcoy town, south of Cebu.

Through the Dream Big Project, over 300 students will get raincoats, slippers and school supplies.

“We hope that we can get as many as 3,000 runners so we will be able to raise funds for our beneficiar­y,” said Charmine Nograles, Gaisano Country Mall's store operations manager in yesterday's press conference at the Mandarin Restaurant.

“We chose Dream Big Project because personally, I am an advocate of education. Hopefully, this will be as successful as before so we can support not only Dream Big Project but also for Philippine Army's library project,” said Allysa Jan Gaisano, Chief Operating Officer of Gaisano Country Mall.

Aside from the 21K, runners can also join the 15K, 10K and 5K categories.

Around P100,000 cash prize are at stake for the top performers in each category. 21K and 15K finishers will also receive a specially-designed medals.

Entry fee is pegged at P500 for 5K, P600 for 10K, P700 for 15K and P800 for 21K inclusive of race shirt, singlet, loot bag, post-race refreshmen­ts and raffle ticket to be use during the raffle after the race.

One may register at the Gaisano Country Mall and Gaisano Main's Customer Service, Runnr at Ayala Center-Cebu and Toby's Sport at SM City-Cebu.
