Do good-and your blessing awaits you

One day, I heard that a friend was criticizing me because I started a business and began to give financial teachings. She was telling others that I've change, that I've lost my spiritual purity. She believed it was impossible to be both a missionary and an entrepreneur, and that I've become worldly with all my talk on money.

A few moths later , she went through severe financial problems. She couldn't pay her bills. Her debts were mounting. And one day, she came to me asking for financial help.

Let me tell you how human I am. I was tempted to tell her, "I don't get it. You criticize me for being an entrepreneur. Yet now, you're asking money from me, which I earned as an entrepreneur."

Thankfully, the better part of me took over. I helped her financially and prayed for her. And I felt so good. I was planting good seeds. I knew I'd harvest good fruits.

The Sixth Commandment says, "Do not kill.: But Jesus explains the spirit of the law saying, "Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. "When you do, your blessing awaits you.
