Vigilance, cooperation keys to PBA return
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial dubbed as make-orbreak the practice sessions the ball clubs will run starting in the next few days, and called on everyone to observe the protocols to achieve their common goal to get back to play by June.
Marcial relayed his message to all concerned individuals in a Zoom meeting with league coaches and team managers Monday.
But after the league officials got the government’s nod on the planned training return of the ball clubs, it’s really up to the individuals now to stay protected - the key to getting IATF’s approval on the league’s eyed Season 46 kickoff in mid-June.
“We need cooperation sa super na pagi-ingat. Ito ang daan para makabalik ang liga sa laro. And so nasa kanila talaga kung gusto nilang makabalik na,” said Marcial.
“We have strict protocols. We’ll have our random visits in practice venues. But of course, hindi naman mababantayan ang kilos ng lahat lalo na pag nasa labas na ng practice,” Marcial added. —
