This is to give Cebuanos easier access to the Cebu City Hall.

“This is the direction of the Mayor to really give great customer service sa atoang mga konstituwente. This is meant for residents of Cebu in need of assistance, information as well as complaints and grievances directly to Cebu City,” said Reymar Hijara of the Department of the Welfare of the Urban Poor.

The pilot area’s location is very strategic, especially for BPO employees who do not have enough time to go to the City Hall or other offices to air their concerns.

The city government also plans to open it even on weekends.

The MAC has a kiosk, waiting area, and front desk and employees to help the Cebuanos with their concerns like a onestop-shop

“This is designed for better access to Cebu City government services. Maong gi-design nato ang atong Mayor’s Action Center,” added Hijara.

The MAC is also meant to follow up on transactions made earlier as well as monitor the actual delivery.

“We will (be) using certain technologies na mapadali gyud nato ang atong mga serbisyo na mahatag sa mga tawo… Also meant to be a receiving area for request with utmost customer care standards and designed shorter turnaround time.. diri nato makita ang kapaspason sa serbisyo sa Cebu City Hall,” said Hijara.

Should the pilot implementation be successful, it will also be expanded to other business establishments and even in the barangays. —
