SUMMER MODELING WORKSHOP

The summer 2022 leg of a modeling workshop series kicked off last month.

Drawing a crop of young talents to learn more of modeling’s fundamentals and intricacies, the workshop is helmed by Cebu’s Dexter Alazas, and features a guest mentor – Cebuana model Erica Olina, who has appeared in several commercials and campaigns in Australia.

A part of the year-long Amplified Models Image Models Search series by Admire Models Philippines, the summer program was staged at the Garden at the Basement 2 of Robinsons Galleria Cebu.

FIFTH ANNIVERSARY FASHION SHOW

A homegrown modeling and talent firm celebrated its 5th anniversary last month by hosting a fashion presentation which had its talents model pieces by a number of local design firms.

Billed “Blazon of Beauty” and held on April 24 at CityMall Danao, the event was underscored by an elements-of-the-earth theme (Earth, Water, Air and Fire), which served as wearable translations of the firm’s views on the modeling industry in general.

Staged at a time when local pandemic restrictions have eased up, the event was staged by the JPowers

Artist Center founded by James Davidson. Apart from celebrating the firm’s fifth anniversary, the show also served as the runway debuts of some of its talents.
