Mandaue City completes dole out of cash aid to PWDs

After the lifting of the election ban, the Mandaue City government has completed the distributi­on of financial assistance yesterday to 4,738 persons with disability (PWD) at P3,000 each.

The two-day cash aid distributi­on was led by Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes and other government officials and representa­tives from the City Social Welfare Services.

Of the 27 barangays in the city, PWDs from 12 barangays were given the assistance on May 13 while the remaining PWDs in 15 barangays received it yesterday.

“Ato na unya pud isunod ang pagpanghat­ag sa ubang financial assistance sa senior citizens,

The mayor added that with the lifting of the ban, this assistance can now be distribute­d.

“Karon nga gihatagan ko sa Mandauehan­ons ug laing lugway sa atong administra­syon ato gihapon kining suklian ug tinarong ug tiunay nga panerbisyo para sa tanang Mandauehan­on,” the mayor further said. —
