So far so good for Maria Gigante
Things are boding well so far for Cebuana beauty queen Maria Gigante in her quest to be the next Miss World Philippines (MWPh) or a chance at the MWPh organization’s other titles up for grabs such as Miss Supranational Philippines, Miss Eco International Philippines, and Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas.
The 28-year-old native of Bantayan has made it as finalist of three fast-track events: Top 5 in the Sports Challenge, Top 10 in the Beach Beauty Competition, and Top 5 after Round 2 of the Head to Head Challenge.
Winners of all fasttrack challenges will automatically be included in the semi-finals of the coronation night happening this June 5 at the Mall of
Asia Arena where
Gigante’s fellow
Cebuana and good friend
Tracy Maureen Perez will crown her successor.
This Thursday, May
26, the 36 candidates of
MWPh 2022 will parade in a Santacruzan-themed
National Costume
Competition at the
Venice Piazza,
McKinley Hill in
Taguig City.
