Things are boding well so far for Cebuana beauty queen Maria Gigante in her quest to be the next Miss World Philippine­s (MWPh) or a chance at the MWPh organizati­on’s other titles up for grabs such as Miss Supranatio­nal Philippine­s, Miss Eco Internatio­nal Philippine­s, and Reina Hispanoame­ricana Filipinas.

The 28-year-old native of Bantayan has made it as finalist of three fast-track events: Top 5 in the Sports Challenge, Top 10 in the Beach Beauty Competitio­n, and Top 5 after Round 2 of the Head to Head Challenge.

Winners of all fasttrack challenges will automatica­lly be included in the semi-finals of the coronation night happening this June 5 at the Mall of
