Consolacio­n gets P166M worth of infra projects

Mandaue City Lone District Representa­tive Emmarie “Lolypop” OuanoDizon has turned over an estimated P166 million worth of infrastruc­ture projects to the town of Consolacio­n.

Ouano-Dizon led the turnover ceremony of the multi-purpose covered courts in the barangays of Tilhaong and Panoypoy.

She also turned over the Polog-Panoypoy concreted road project to the officials of the said barangay.

Polog-Panoypoy road has drainage facilities of 465 meters in length and 403 meters in diameter and slope protection at Panoypoy side which cost a total amount of P75 million.

Another infrastruc­ture project entrusted to the said barangaysi­sthePolog-Panoypoy road concreting 1.287 kilometers in length with drainage facilities and slope protection having a total cost of also P75 million. The drainage therein has 1,287 canal stretches on both sides with a retainer wall of 500 meters.

The multi-purpose covered courts in Tilhaong and Panoypoy that have a contract price at P8 million each feature a wide floor area, screen fences on all sides, and gates on the façade.

It will serve as an area for physical and other recreation­al activities which will be managed by the barangay concerned.

Ouano-Dizon, in a message, said the projects and programs started in her first term covering her previous areas of jurisdicti­on had to be finished as her legacy that the people would be enjoying in the field of sports where the said structures are covering them.

Road concreting projects, she said, will assure safe travel, quick transport of their agricultur­al produce and other commoditie­s in barangays Polog, Panoypoy and other villages in Consolacio­n.

Ouano-Dizon added that she dedicates the project to all the people of the said barangays and the Municipali­ty of Consolacio­n.

Aside from doing her legislativ­e works on important matters in the House of Representa­tives, Ouano-Dizon whoisknown­forhernono­nsense service to the people, has also been devoting much of her time in rolling out projects, mostly in infrastruc­ture to all barangays in Consolacio­n and Cordova which remain in the sixth legislativ­e district which Ouano-Dizon represente­dbeforeMan­daueCity became a separate lone district.

After her re-election in May 9, 2022, Ouano-Dizon is now serving as a legislator representi­ng the lone district of Mandaue City.

The lady solon took the opportunit­y to thank the barangay officials for their concern of the needs of their constituen­ts which prompted them to send requests to her congressio­nal office.

Joining Ouano-Dizon in the said activities were officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways and the barangay officials concerned.
