Slay of Tagum lawyer unsolved
DAVAO CITY – The killing of a prominent lawyer in Tagum City by motorcycle gunmen remains unsolved and her family and relatives were demanding justice for the murder.
Attorney Connie Villamor was driving her car when the gunmen drove by her side and shot her several times through the window.
The assailants escaped after the shooting, according to Inspector Jeffrey Bangcas.
Police were investigating the motive of the killing. It was not immediately known whether the attack was connected to Villamor’s work as a lawyer or not.
Bangcas did not say if the attack was captured on security cameras in the area.
