BATANGAS CITY - As the countdown begins for the crowning of the next Miss Universe Philippines, the excitement is palpable. With the stage set at the iconic SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on May 22, anticipation is soaring to witness who will emerge as the top three winners in this highly esteemed beauty pageant.

This year marks the fifth edition of the Miss Universe Philippines pageant, a prestigious event that showcases grace, intelligence, and charisma. Fifty-three remarkable delegates from across the nation are vying for the coveted title, aiming to succeed the reigning queen, Michelle Marquez Dee, and earn the honor of representing the Philippines in the 73rd Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to be held in Mexico later this year.

Branding Department at AB Leisure Exponent Inc., shared her enthusiasm for bringing the candidates to the scenic Lima Park Hotel in Batangas City. “This picturesque setting offers the perfect backdrop for the contestants to unwind and prepare for the competition ahead,” she told The Mindanao Examiner Regional Newspaper.

She said divided into two batches, the candidates are immersed in a whirlwind of activities, fostering camaraderie and friendship amidst the intensity of the pageant journey.
