National U tries to formalize its stint in the semifinal round of the Shakey’s Girls’ Volley League NCR leg as it squares off with winless Elizabeth Seton School tomorrow at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Colegio San Agustin (CSA) and Angelicum College (ANC) also go for Final Four berths as they mix it up with UP Integrated School (UPIS) and St. James Academy-malabon (SJM), respectively, in the penultimate elims playdate of the tournament sponsored by Shakey’s Pizza and organized by Metro Sports.

Foiled by Mighty Sports-hope Christian School (HCS) the last time out, the NU spikers are fancied to get past the ESS side, winless in four games, in Pool A action at 2 p.m.

HCS, which clinched the first semis seat with a straight-set win over NU last week, goes for a sweep of the elims against De La Salle-zobel, which remains in the hunt in the tournament backed by Toby’s Mikasa and Asics with a 3-1 card. They clash at 3 p.m.

ANC, which swept its four matches in Pool B, duels with SJM in the 9 a.m. opener while University of the East and King’s Montessori School, toting identical 3-2 slates, tangle at 10 a.m.
