Finex holds forum on real estate industry outlook

The Financial Executives Institute of the Philippine­s (FINEX) is conducting a halfday forum “Outlook for the Real Estate Industry in 2012 and beyond...” on March 7, 2 p. m.- 6 p. m.., at the Ayala Executive Lounge, 25th Flr. of Ayala Tower One, Ayala Ave., Makati City.

Is there a property bubble? What is the current state of each sector of the real estate industry? How long will the boom last? Are macroecono­mic fundamenta­ls supportive of further growth of the real estate industry?

Where are the opportunit­ies? What are the financing options available to both developers and home buyers? How is the policy environmen­t for real estate? What industry-specific policy measures are available to prevent a property bubble?

These questions and more will be addressed by an array of speakers who are experts in their respective fields.

The speakers and their topics are: Peter Wallace, president and chairman, The Wallace Business Forum (Current State of the Philippine Economy and Near Term Prospects), Rick Santos, chairman and president, CB Richard Ellis ( Sector Review of the Real Estate Industry: Commercial Properties), David Leechiu, country head, Jones Lang LaSalle Leechiu (Sector Review of the Real Estate Industry: Residentia­l and Tourism Properties), Jose Teodoro Limcaoco, pressident, BPI Family Savings Bank (The Financial Side of the Real Estate Industry), Leo Venezuela, senior analyst, CLSA Philippine­s Inc. (Boom, Boom, Boom: How Long Will it Last?) and Dennis Botman, Resident Representa­tive, Internatio­nal Monetary Fund (The Policy Side of the Real Estate Industry).

The attendance fee is P2,500 for FINEX members and P3,000 for NON-FINEX members and it is inclusive of food, seminar materials and attendance certificat­e.
