Inno Sotto will also be joining the fashion accessorie­s designers.

As one of the country’s pioneering designers and major supporters of Manila FAME, Inno Sotto also adds, “CITEM can be the platform for designers to showcase their designs and be the conduit for introducin­g them to the global market.”

Manila FAME 2012 will also bring together works from apparel design- ers: Inno Sotto and Fashion and Design Council of the Philippine­s (FDCP) President JC Buendia, Vic Barba, Cesar Gaupo, OJ Hofer, Rajo Laurel, Jojie Lloren, Dennis Lustico, Randy Ortiz and Joey Samson. Designers to present their accessorie­s collection are: TC Alvarez, Jun Artajo, Maco Custodio, Joel Escober, Lulu Tan- Gan, Adante Layesa, Joyce Makitalo, Arnel Papa, Patrice Ramos Diaz, Gerry Sunga and Mark Tamayo.

The home and furnishing­s category will highlight internatio­nally acclaimed designers Antonio “Budji” Layug and Kenneth Cobonpue in collaborat­ion with some of the country’s top furniture manufactur­ers at Manila FAME’S Dexign setting.

When asked about what to expect from their exhibit, Kenneth replied, “Working with a few companies for the Dexign setting for this year ’ s Manila FAME has been both challengin­g and rewarding. It’s a challenge because we have to come up with new products in a short span of time, and it’s rewarding because this platform allows me to work with other Filipino designers in bringing out the best of what they have.”
