AGC tourney slated at Eastridge

The country’s top golfing architects vie for top honors tomorrow as the Architects Golf Club holds its final tournament in the first quarter at the Eastridge Golf Club course in Binangonan, Rizal.

Ruel de Castro of BITC Imported Roofing Tiles stamped his class again and shot 51 points for a net 75 to top Group I in the AGC February tournament at Splendido, making him the player to beat in tomorrow’s event sponsored by Boysen Paints.

Eymard Agbing carded 59 points for a net 67 to rule Group II, while Neil Magkilat of Boysen Paints topped Group III with 53 points and net of 73 (3 net eagles).

Gregorio Concepcion dominated Group IV with 49 points for a net 78 while Jose Gutierrez fired 54 points for a net 73 to reign in Group V.

The AGC kicked off at Mt. Malarayat Golf and Country Club in Lipa, Batangas last Jan. 25 with Splendido Taal Golf Club hosting the second leg last Feb. 23.
