How to stay cool and beautiful
The heat is on, but The Face Shop lets us keep our cool, with its new range just in time for summer: the Arsainte Eco-therapy Crystal Water range. Made from Korea’s bestselling Berg water, the line is built on 100- percent organic iceberg crystal water from Newfoundland of Canada, harvested from ice crystals in the center of glaciers formed 15,000 years ago in the Arctic. As compared to ordinary glacial milk, or melted water collected near polar regions, organic crystal water is richer in minerals, possessing a perfect hexagonal structure that provides anti-aging and revitalizing properties.
What’s more, Crystal Water products possess a light texture, and are free of paraben, benzophenol, animal material, mineral oil, triethanolamine and sulfate, ensuring a good fit for even the most sensitive skin.
The line has four key products: the Crystal Water Super Gel, Crystal Water Ultra Cream, Crystal Water 02 Mask, and Crystal Water Cooling Mist.
The Crystal Water Gel is an oil-free gel cream that provides a surge of moisture to the skin, along with a fresh cooling sensation care of its Xylitol component, and an improvement in skin texture through hyaluronic acid. Best for oily skin types, this product can be smoothed onto the face and neck after using toner.
Dryer skin types can switch the gel for the Crystal Water Ultra Cream, which contains lecithin, golden palm oil, phytocollagen and xanthan gum for ultimate moisturizing.
Once a week, you may also opt to use the Crystal Water 02 Mask, which calms irritation and infuses the skin with oxygen. Simply apply onto the face after toner, avoiding the mouth and eye area. When bubbles appear a minute later, gently pat them into your skin before rinsing off with lukewarm water, in order to see one’s revitalized complexion.
Finally, a cooling mist is perfect to bring on the go. Simply spritz onto the face, with your eyes closed, then gently pat onto one’s skin. The instant cooling effects of crystal water and xylitol combine with the moisturizing properties of betain, and the soothing ingredients of phytolex and panthenol, for use whenever the face is dry or flushed.
