No. 2 int’l hospitality school to conduct free seminar

-

Recently it was announced in the international press in Montreux that the Swiss Education Group schools ranked in the Top 10 international hospitality schools favored by international industry recruiters. With four schools ranked in the Top 10, the international hospitality industry has clearly indicated the value it places in graduates from schools within the Swiss Education Group (SEG).

One of the key findings of this survey is that 46 percent of the respondents currently use at least one of the SEG schools for their recruitment, which means that almost half of the worldwide hotel managers in charge of recruiting rely on graduates from an SEG school. A key survey question: “Which of the following schools do you currently use/work with for recruitment in your company?” placed the four SEG schools in the Top 10: in second place, Swiss Hotel Management School; in fourth place, Cesar Ritz Colleges; in sixth place, Hotel Institute Montreux; and in eighth place, IHTTI, School of Hotel Management.

All SHMS courses combine the traditional Swiss approach and state-of-the-art technology. SHMS programs are more intensive than at other hospitality schools, and Bachelors and Masters Degrees only take three years and one year to complete, respectively. Each year of study consists of a five-month academic term followed by a six-month paid internship in Switzerland or abroad. This gives students the professional training in the industry.

To avail of the latest information on the different program offerings of SHMS and student life in Switzerland, International Education Specialists (Inter-ed) is holding a “free informative seminar” on March 27, 2012 (Tuesday), 6 to 8 p.m., at the AIM Conference Center in Legaspi Village, Makati. Frank Schiele from SHMS and Roger Bartholomew, president of Inter-ed, will be the speakers. Attendance of the seminar is free of charge to all people wanting to take up hotel management in Switzerland to jump start their career. Please register and secure your seat please text 09189041282 or call 8191001.
