Appreciating furniture at its finest
A perfect mix of well-known personalities from the social, business and diplomatic communities gathered for another fi rst-rate affair of furniture appreciation at One Rockwell (Function Room East) in Rockwell Center, Makati City.
Studio 10.10’s dynamic resident artist Niccolo Jose proudly unveiled his Spring Collection 2012 consisting of world- class studio furniture. These furniture pieces were ingeniously made from various kinds of Philippine aged wood including ironwood — considered one of the world’s most difficult material to use.
Guests had a great time as they witnessed the artist eagerly talk about his craft and his passion for wood-bending, twisting and transforming it to become extraordinary masterpieces and larger-than-life pieces of sculpture. Everyone could not help but marvel at the impressive creations in the exhibit that spoke of the artist’s undeniably remarkable talent and
expertise. The attendees truly had an enjoyable time as they discovered the versatile possibilities of furniture from this master craftsman who continues to produce eco-friendly and functional works of art!
Seen gracing the gathering were Vicky and Stephanie Zubiri, Aficionado Germany Perfume president and CEO Joel Cruz, Hoseki founder Faico and wife Zabeth, architect Johnny Hubilla and photographer Tilak Hettige, among many others.
